About UK Cervical Cancer

UK Cervical Cancer is a small but dedicated charity focused on raising awareness of cervical cancer, supporting those affected by it, and advocating for prevention through education and screening. Driven by a passionate volunteer team, the charity is now preparing for its next phase of development.

As part of this transition, we are seeking a part-time Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the charity forward. While this is initially an unpaid voluntary role, this role will become a paid part-time position on a 2 days per week basis, and eventually a full-time salaried role as the charity secures further funding.

Role Overview

The CEO will provide strategic leadership and oversee the daily running of the charity. Working closely with the Chairman, trustees, and volunteers, you will drive fundraising, awareness campaigns, partnerships, and governance.

Communications & Advocacy
  • Support trustees with public-facing activities, including events and media engagement.
  • Lead awareness campaigns to strengthen the charity’s impact.

  • Support and inspire the charity’s volunteer team.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative organisational culture.
Person Specification

  • Prior involvement in charity, healthcare, or corporate networking.
  • Experience managing or working with volunteers.
  • A passion for supporting women’s health and cancer awareness.
